In Cash Management, set up the new bank account. See article 17697 DocLink: How do I set up a new bank account in Cash Management?

If you have an existing account that you are going to start using for AR, Verify the following information in Cash Management:

From the Setup Menu, select Bank Accounts.

  • On the GL Cash Accounts tab, check the Accounts Receivable check box.
  • If you Use separate cash accounts per application, enter the Receivables cash account on the GL Cash Accounts tab
