| How can I find the Internet Protocol (IP) address of my computer? |
Resolution | [BCB:5:Third-party support:ECB]
- Click Windows +R to bring up the Run box
- Type CMD, then click OK. This will bring up a DOS window
- Type ipconfig, then Enter
- You will see several lines of information. Find the line that starts with IPv4. Then number at the end of that line will be the computer's IP address.
Note: You may also see an IPv6. Although Sage 50 can utilize the IPv6, it will respond faster using the IPv4 address. If you see both addresses, you might want to consider setting Windows to prefer IPv4 over IPv6, for faster performance. See Article ID 93607: DocLink: How to set Windows 10 to prefer IPv4 over IPv6
