Accounts Payable checks only print the amount, protected amount, date, name and address information. It doesn't print the MICR line or the rest of the check face. Because of this, you need to print Accounts Payable checks to pre-printed check stock.

To print checks to blank check stock, use a third-party check writing software, such as PrintBoss.
