How do I remove security access to reports and inquiries?

Use Security Administration to change operators access to reports and inquiries.

  1. Log in to Sage Desktop as a security administrator.
  2. From the Tools or Options menu, select Security Administration.
  3. In the Security Permissions by Type area, select Tasks.
  4. From the Tasks list, select Reports and Inquiries
    • To remove a report, select Reports, [Application] Reports and select the report.
    • To remove an inquiry, select Inquiries, [Application] Inquiries and select the inquiry.
  5. Unmark the check box next to the roles that should not have access to the report or inquiry.
    • Note: To see a list of users assigned to a role, click on the role name.
  6. After the required roles are changed, select Save Changes.
  7. The user will need to log out of the Sage 300CRE application and log back in for the changes to take affect.
