Error: "Printer not activated, error code -60" when printing to Paperless Office PDF while logged in at a Windows Server
Description

http://www.amyuni.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&p=9260

Workaround: Log into the server using RDP or a terminal server connection.

Cause

Paperless Office was upgraded in Sage 100 ERP version 2013 with Product Update 8, and in Sage 100 ERP version 2014 with Product Update 4.  Changes to the driver activation key prevent it from opening on a server operating system.

This message occurs when printing to Paperless Office PDF (portable document format) when physically logged in at a Windows server; it will not occur if logged in using a terminal server connection or Remote Desktop on the same server.  Client connections to the server will also not experience the error.

Though using a server as a workstation is not supported, troubleshooting and testing are often done on the server and Sage will be correcting the activation issue in an upcoming update for Sage 100 ERP version 2014 and a hot fix for Sage 100 ERP version 2013.

Resolution

This issue is resolved with Product Update 5 for Sage 100 ERP 2014 (5.10.5.0) . The product updates can be downloaded from our web site (http://na.sage.com/log-on/) after registering for and logging into the Sage Customer or Partner Portal.

Workaround: Log into the server using RDP or a terminal server connection.
