| Cause | You have upgraded to 14.1 or above, and the user does not have sufficient permissions to send commitments to Job Cost. |
| Resolution | Give the user permissions to Allow Approval of Master Compliance through Desktop Security.
- Log into Sage Desktop as a Security Administrator.
- Access Security Administration.
- For versions 15.1 and older, Tools, Security Administration.
- For versions 16.1 and later, Options, Security Administration.
- Select the Role the user is associated with.
- Expand Tasks, Job Cost, Tasks, Commitments.
- Ensure the user has permissions to Allow commit, Allow Release to Accounting, and Allow Approval of Master Compliance.
- Expand Tasks, Job Cost, Tasks, Commitment COs.
- Ensure the user has permissions to Allow Approve and Allow Release to Accounting.
- Have the user log back into Sage to verify they are able to post commitments from PO to JC.
Note:
If you have Project Management (PJ), you will need to give the same permissions for Project Management.
- Tasks, Project Management, Contract Control, Commitments to grant access to Allow commit, Allow Release to Accounting, and Allow Approval of Master Compliance.
- Tasks, Project Management, Contract Control, Commitment COs to grant access to Allow Release to Accounting and Allow Revise Commitment.
