Two Resolutions: (Try Resolution 1 first) Resolution 1: Set up Job Cost information on the Estimate - In SQL Estimating go to Home, Info button.
- Scroll down to Job Cost Info section and select Job cost system name to something other than none (Sage 100 Contractor, Sage 300 Constructionm or Text).
- Select Setup and select ok.
Resolution 2:Use Merge estimates - Create a blank new estimates for the Master estimate
- Click on the File tab
- Click Merge estimate
- Click on the Create button (next to the New estimate name field).
- Enter the name of the estimate and add something like '-1'
- Check to make sure you have the correct database and saving the estimate to the correct folder
- Click OK
- Click Browse...
- Select the Master estimate that you created
- Click OK
- Click Step 1
- Click Browse...
- Select the Master estimate that you created
- Click Add >>
- Select the estimate
- Click Add >>
- Click Step 2
- Click Merge Estimates
- In Sage Estimating open both estimates the one that did not work and the new merged estimate
- Click on the Home tab
- Click on Totals
- Check the Totals and Addons to make sure you have the same totals
