Locate required account information

You’ll need the installation codes and account ID for installation and technical support. Sage provides this information in the Product Activation email after purchase.

Understand single-user configurations

Single-user installations use one station license.

Single computer

The program files and database reside on one computer with a single license.

Networked workstation with local database

A Premium workstation connected to a network stores the database locally. The database doesn’t operate across the network with one station license.

NOTE:

More licenses support future networking across supported environments using installation-specific guides.

Install the application

  • Download the installation file.  See article, Sage Timeslips: Download Portal for the download link.
  • Double-click the download if the installer doesn’t start automatically.
  • Launch the installer and select Install Sage Timeslips.
  • Select the installation path.
  • Choose Complete installation, or select Custom to exclude components.
  • Finish the wizard to complete installation.
The installation is complete.

Create or convert databases

  • Launch the application and select Create New Database on the splash screen if you’re a first-time user.
