How to restore a backup of your company data in Sage 100 Contractor

Resolution
  1. Open Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor
  2. Click Tune Up/Back Up/Restore Back up
  3. Click Restore Company from Backup
  4. Click Browse
  5. Navigate to the backup file
    1. The default location is C:\Sage100Con\Backup\
    2. Manual backups are stored in the On Demand folder.
    3. Scheduled backups are stored in the Nightly folder.
    4. The backup file format is comprised of a zipped folder. For example: CompanyName_Date ver 20.x..
  6. Click Open.
  7. From the field labeled Restore as:
    1. Verify the name of the company.
    2. If that company already exists it will prompt you to overwrite after clicking Restore Company.
  8. Click Restore Company
