How to restore a backup of your company data

Resolution
  1. Connect to Database Administration.
  2. Select Tune Up/Back Up/Restore.
  3. Select Restore Company from Backup.
  4. Click Browse.
  5. Go to the backup file.
    • The default location is [Drive letter]: \Sage100Con\Backup.
    • Manual backups are stored in the [Drive letter]: \Sage 100Con\Backup\On Demand folder.
    • Scheduled backups are stored in the [Drive letter]: \Sage100Con\Nightly folder.
       NOTE: The backup file consists of a zipped folder.  For example, "Acme, Inc_2025-12-31_27.1.1.0020.zip".  
  6. Click Open.
  7. From the field labeled Restore as:
    • Verify the name of the company.
    • When the company already exists, a prompt to overwrite will appear after clicking Restore Company.
  8. Click Restore Company.
