| How to back up and restore company data |
Resolution | Steps to back up the company database - Connect to Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor.
- Click Tune-Up/Back Up/Restore.
- Click Back Up Companies.
- In the Company column, checkmark the company name.
- In Enter the location for the backup files, accept the default location, or browse to another location.
- Click Create Backup.
Steps to restore the company database - Connect to Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor.
- Click Tune-Up/Back Up/Restore.
- Click Restore Company from Backup.
- In Enter the backup file you want to restore, click Browse.
- Go to the company backup.
- In Restore as, enter the name you wish to assign to the company.
- Select Upgrade the company database to the latest version after restoration.
- Click Restore Company.
