If the user is using Windows authentication and has a Broken Login, do the following:
- Log into Sage 100 Contractor company with Administrator rights (check the box for "Open company with Administrator rights")
- Open menu 7-2-2 User List.
- Make note of any Windows authenticated user containing a Yes in the column Broken Login. Note: For Windows authenticated users, the column Integrated Security will = Yes.
- Highlight the user row.
- Right-click on the highlighted row, and select Cut row. Click Save.
- Reopen 7-2-2 User List and click on the first empty row in the User Name column. Important: Do not insert a row to add a user. Always add a new user login at the bottom of the table. When you save the new entry, it will be saved alphabetically. Inserting a row may cause corruption with the user login.
- In the Name field, re-enter the Windows authenticated user name (i.e. Domain name\username). Assign the required Security Groups to the user. Click Save.
- Ask the user to close and reopen Sage 100 Contractor SQL. The User will now have the ability to login into the company database using their Windows authenticated user name.
