Note: The Sage 100 or Sage 100c accounting software product (formerly known as Sage MAS 90 or MAS 200), as sold in Canada and the United States (including U.S. territories such as Guam, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, etc.), is not to be confused with other products (with entirely different code base) sold as Sage 100 in other countries such as the United Kingdom and France, etc. And not to be confused with Sage 100 Contractor (formerly known as Sage Master Builder).

• Original (OEM) Product:

• At this time, the Sage 100 product is made for an English language user base. There is no current functionality for users of other languages, such as Chinese, French, or Spanish.

• Some customers are known to run Chinese or Korean or Spanish editions (and/or regional settings) of the Microsoft Windows operating system. They still install the original (OEM) Sage 100 product that displays and accepts text in English language characters.

• Note: Foreign language editions of the Microsoft Windows operating system - including Regional language settings other than U.S. English - are not officially supported. Some users have reported screen display errors or issues as enabling other languages can result in Unicode character sets unrecognizable by Sage 100 (even if they appear recognizable to Windows users, or to other software programs).

• Example: Error #20 (Syntax Error). A syntax error occurs when a character or string incorrectly placed in a command or instruction causes a failure in execution (i.e. the program cannot properly execute).

• Third-Party Enhancements:
  • There may be third-party enhancements that allow users to view text (including task windows, menus, and reports) in other languages.
    • Example: DSD Business Systems developed a multi-language template for French and Spanish languages.
    • Example: You may search on-line, or visit the Sage Partner Solution Source for resources.
  • Sage Customer Support cannot assist with third-party products or enhancements.
