How do I set up a Folder Watch in Sage Paperless Construction?

For full information see Sage Paperless Construction help under the Contents of Capture, Importer.

  1. Go to the Capture tab.
  2. Select Importer.
  3. Click New Job.
  4. Select Folder Watch and click OK.
  5. General tab:
    1. Give the job a name.
    2. Confirm that Active is checked.
    3. Select a vault.
    4. Fill notes if needed.
  6. Sources tab:
    1. Click Add.
    2. Fill in a name.
    3. Select Folder Watch for the Source Type.
    4. Click the ... button, browse to the folder you would like to use by using a UNC a click OK.
      (You must use a universal naming convention path, of the style \\<servername>\<sharename>\<yourfoldername>. Do not use a mapped drive.)
    5. Click OK.
  7. Configuration tab:
    1. Select the Queue you would like to use for this folder.
  8. Error Options and Archiving Options are both optional settings.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Repeat steps as needed.
  11. Click OK.

It is important to review the existing Job Polls. PEImporter is required and Queue Notification will e-mail user queue owners to notify them they have an item in their queue.

Queue Notification - Sends a notification to every user queue owner with a summary of the number of documents currently in the queue(s) for which they are marked as "owner".,
