Create a local account

Cause

You are logged into Windows with an e-mail account. Sage Estimating (SQL) does not currently support logging in using a Microsoft email account. You must log in to Windows with a domain account or a local account. If you log in to Windows with your Microsoft email account, Estimating will not recognize you as a user.

Resolution

Use a local account to install a new SQL instance

Note: You will need to use the local account (not a Microsoft Account) to log into your computer)
