Note: In order to pause or resume sharing, you must be an administrator in the company.

Pause a Remote Data Access company:

To access certain functions within a shared Sage Drive company the sharing of the data must be paused temporarily. Follow the steps below to pause sharing of a Sage Drive company.

1. Click on the green Shared icon on the upper right and select Pause Sharing (or go to File, Remote Data Access, Pause Sharing). Click Continue on the notification screen.
   • Note: While sharing is paused remote users will have read-only access to the data and be unable to make changes. You must resume sharing a company to allow remote users to make changes to the data
2. The confirmation screen will appear. Click OK. The company sharing is now paused.
   • Note: You must resume sharing before closing the company. If you attempt to close the company you will receive a warning message. Click Yes to resume sharing of the company and close, or click No to remain in the paused company

Resume sharing a Remote Data Access company:

1. From within the company click the orange Paused icon on the upper right and select Resume Sharing (or go to File, Remote Data Access, Resume Sharing). The company will automatically resume the sharing process.
2. When complete the following confirmation screen will appear. Click OK.
