Follow the steps below to add or edit an entry in the Hosts file. Refer to your IT/Network Administrator for assistance.

1. Locate Notepad and Run as administrator.
2. Click on File, Open.
3. Browse to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc.
4. In the Text Documents drop down list on the lower right corner, click on the arrow and choose All Files.
5. Select the Hosts file and click Open.
6. Go to the bottom of the file and add a line with the IP address, a tab, and the servername.
7. Click File and Save.
