Data Is Not Selected for Report Printing Error
Description
Cause

No records match the selected criteria

The selected conditions, date range, settings, or records don't contain data for the report or printing task.
Examples include:
  • The General Ledger Detail Report uses an account number that doesn't exist.
  • The selected date range doesn't contain any General Ledger transactions.
  • The Open Sales Order Report doesn't contain orders that match the selected conditions.
  • The selected date range doesn't contain any qualifying sales orders.
  • The user already printed the sales order through the Sales Order Printing task.
Resolution

Verify the report criteria

Review all selected criteria before printing.
  • Confirm that the selected records exist.
  • Verify that the date range contains data.
  • Ensure the selected conditions match existing records.
  • Check that account numbers, customer records, and document numbers are valid.

Review report-specific requirements

Different reports use different selection criteria.
  • Confirm that records meet the report requirements.
  • Remove restrictive filters and test again.
  • Expand the date range and print the report again.

Check document status

Some printing tasks only print records that meet specific status requirements.
  • Confirm that the document isn't printed yet.
  • Use the appropriate inquiry task when reprinting existing documents.

NOTE:

For Sales Order Printing, use an inquiry task, such as Sales Order Inquiry, to reprint a previously printed sales order.
