| Error: "You are not currently set up as a user of the selected Estimating server" (Local user account needs to be added at server) (SQL) |
Cause | - The directory where local user account's profile resides may be hidden from the search feature in the Add User in the Estimating management Console/ Security window.
- Clicking the Search button in the Add User screen locates the server machine name/user name but the error still occurs at the workstation.
- The computer with the SQL instance is a workgroup server. The users need to be on the workstation and the workgroup server, with the same username, password, and hint

Resolution | - In Estimating Management Console, Security, manually type in the (computer or domain name\username) in the Add User window. DO NOT CLICK SEARCH
- Select the desired Roles from the drop-down list and click OK.
- The User profile will be added the User's list.
- Open the Sage Estimating Configuration Wizard at the workstation.
- If a message "Unable to login to the SQL Server instance. See log for further detail", click the TEST button
- You should receive a confirmation message stating, "The selected server is configured correctly and is up to date and you are enrolled as a user. The server is ready to use."
- Verify you are able to launch the Estimating application from the workstation.
