The selection of multiple employee pay cycles in a specific pay cycle was modified for version 2018 Payroll.
The pay cycle selected is used to calculate:
- Days Worked and Weeks Worked for use in other areas of the pay cycle.
- Period Starting Date or Period Ending Date
- Employee and Employer taxes.
To simultaneously process payroll for groups of employees who are assigned to different pay cycles, enable the Payroll Data Entry batch feature on the Entry tab in Payroll Options. Then create a separate batch for each pay cycle. For each batch, use the Auto Pay feature as you normally would.
