Option 2: How to “Reset All Settings” (See below for what will be reset)
- Open Sage Estimating, select the File tab
- Select the Options
- Click on the “Reset All Settings” button.
- Click on “Yes” on the Confirm Reset Settings window
- Complete “Setup”
- Click on “Close”
This is what will be reset when you use “Reset All Settings”, it restores all settings under [My Preferences] to their original (“factory”) settings.
Here is a list of editable preferences settings, according to group:
- Spreadsheet. Controls your preferences for the default appearance of spreadsheets and the method of rounding addon amounts in the Totals window, and preferences for displaying grand totals.
- Folders. Set the file path for the Sage Estimating (SQL) reports folder.
- Takeoff. Controls defaults for taking off one-time items and assemblies.
- For one-time item takeoff, you can specify which categories are pre-selected. For assembly takeoff, you can control whether assembly items are generated during takeoff when they have a quantity of zero.
- You can also determine whether the Pass Audit window closes automatically after viewing an assembly or pass.
- General (Sage Estimating (SQL)). Controls how Sage Estimating (SQL) behaves when you are creating records, opening a list, and using the digitizer for assembly takeoff.
- Miscellaneous. Accept or decline participation in the Product Enhancement Program (PEP).
