Issue 1: The form has not been approved by the governing agency.

• In this case when you go to print your record copy or the final copy a message will display "This form is not printable until the State has approved it for print and mail. Once approved the "Records Copy" banner will be removed. Check for updates periodically."
• Resolution: Continue to check back for an Aatrix update that includes the approved form

Issue 2: The form is only available for efiling.

• In this case either the form selected is the efile version of the form or the form that is available is an efile only form (If the form is e-file only, there is no way to print without a watermark). There are reports in which the states no longer accept print-and-mail forms and only accept efiled forms
• Resolution: If the form has multiple types to select, select the form that does not state it is the efile form in the description. If the form only has one option and it is an efile-only form, you will need to efile the form through Aatrix or contact your State for other efiling options

Issue 3: The form is not efile only and the form is approved.

• Attempt to print on another computer, if it works without issue it is an environmental issue with the original computer
• If there is no other computer available remove all printers from the computer and then reinstall the necessary printer

Issue 4: When processing selected the eFile option

• Selected option to eFile copy. When that option is selected the copy being printed will show "Record Copy..."
• Start the W-2 printing process again and do not choose the eFile option
