Sage 300 CRE uses a different version of Pervasive/Actian/Zen than Sage 50 and Sage 300 ERP. The Pervasive/Actian/Zen versions aren’t compatible. This can also apply to other Sage or third-party software applications.

You can't install Sage 300 CRE on the same computer as Sage 50 or Sage 300 ERP.

The issues below can occur when you install Sage 300 CRE on the same machine as applications with incompatible versions of these database engines:

• Corruption in Sage 300 CRE Data, the third-party application data or both data sets
• The third-party application data may no longer be compatible with the database engine it was originally installed with

Workaround

Use Terminal Services to run Sage 300 CRE on the same computer as Sage 50, Sage 100 ERP, or Sage 300 ERP.
