Note: For assistance with the steps in this section, contact an IT person or Microsoft support. Check Windows Event Viewer; if there are .NET Framework errors, you will need to uninstall and reinstall all versions of .NET Framework.

 

  1. Go to the Control Panel, and then select Programs & Features.
  2. Click Turn Windows Features On & Off.
  3. Clear .Net Framework 3.5 and .Net Framework 4.5 boxes, and then click OK.
  4. Restart your computer when prompted.
  5. Go to the Control Panel, and then select Programs & Features.
  6. Click Turn Windows Features On & Off.
  7. Select .Net Framework 3.5 and .Net Framework 4.5 boxes, and then click OK.
  8. Close Control Panel.
  9. Press Windows+R keys, type cmd, and then click OK.
  10. Type sfc /scannow, and then press Enter.
  11. Restart your computer when the test completes.
  12. Verify Sage 50 opens with no error.
