Note: This feature is available only with a CORE product license. (It is not available with Sage Estimating Essential.)

An item table returns the appropriate item to the assembly based on your input for one or more variables (or formulas) during takeoff.

You can set up an item table with one or two conditions:

  • One dimensional is an item table with a single input condition. During takeoff, the item table returns an item based on the entry for that variable or formula.

You could set up an item table to return the appropriate stud to an assembly based on the variable that asks about the stud size at takeoff.

  • Two dimensional is an item table with two input conditions. During takeoff, the item table returns an item based on the entries for those two variables or formulas.

You could set up an item table to return the appropriate joist to an assembly based on the variables that ask about the span and size of the joist at takeoff.

Suppose you choose item 3.181 c 20 Conc 2000 psi, enter its variables, and click [Add to Qty].
