Changing the server administrator password

Cause
Resolution
  1. Trigger the administrator login on each workstation by selecting Start, and typing DBRegister.
  2. Select Disconnect Users.
  3. When prompted enter the administrator login and the new password.
    • This account must be a local administrator account and not a domain administrator
  4. If your administrator password is going to change regularly, create another user ID with local administrator rights on your Sage BusinessWorks server.
    • Use this new local at the administrator login prompt on each workstation
