| Cause | - Sage 50 installation does not complete
- Existing installation of Sage 50 on the computer is damaged
- Program update will not complete

| Resolution | Solution 1: Repair the program - Follow How to repair the Sage 50 installation.
- Install the product update again.
Solution 2: Uninstall and reinstall with latest full product download - Download the latest full product release (which includes the patch update) from the Sage 50—U.S. Edition: Download Portal.
- Go to Control Panel, Programs and Features, and uninstall Sage 50 Accounting.
- Reinstall Sage 50 Accounting from the new download.
- If there is a notice saying that you can't uninstall because Sage is still running on the computer, open Task Manager and go to Details and end Peachw.exe
