To aid in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act, Sage 100 Contractor version 22.3 and later include the following reports, listings the types of personal information the program stores. NOTE: A "Y" on the report indicates that the field, or associated fields, contains personally identifiable information.
- Menu option 3-5-99 (Job Consumer Privacy Report)
- Menu option 3-6-99 (Client Consumer Privacy Report)
- Menu option 4-4-99 (Vendor Consumer Privacy Report)
- Menu option 5-2-1-99 (Employee Consumer Privacy Report)
When following the California Consumer Privacy Act, you’re required to edit or remove any personally identifiable information in your Sage 100 Contractor database, follow these steps: Important: Always create a backup of your company database before making irreversible changes to any records. 1. Open menu option 3-5-99, 3-6-99, 4-4-99, or 5-2-1-99, as applicable, and print the report. 2. Make note of any fields containing "Y". 3. Open the appropriate 3-5 Jobs, 3-6 Receivable Client, 4-4 Vendor, or 5-2-1 Employee record to edit or, if required, remove information from fields containing personally identifiable information. 4. Don’t forget to check the Custom fields on the record for the presence of personally identifiable information. Custom fields may be accessed by opening the appropriate menu option 3-5 Job, 3-6 Receivable Client, 4-4 Vendor. or 5-2-1 Employee record and clicking Edit, Custom Fields, from the menu bar. 5. Save the 3-5 Job, 3-6 Receivable Client, 4-4 Vendor, or 5-2-1 Employee record, after making any changes.
