Use your Twilio account to send email notifications
Description

Sage 100 Contractor can use your Twilio account to:

  • Notify you or another administrator automatically when an automatic nightly backup isn't successful
  • Notify mobile app users when a mobile reviewer rejects their time entry
Cause
Resolution

1. Connect to Database Administration as an SQL administrator and a company administrator.

2. Go to Advanced Settings, Twilio Email Settings.

3. After connecting your Twilio account in Database Administration:

  • Configure Twilio as the email service for each of your companies
  • Enter these settings in Sage 100 Contractor on the Email and Fax Configuration tab in the 7-1 Company Information window
  • Enter one or more email addresses in the Send email notification of backup failures to: field in Database Administration for Sage 100 Contractor, Advanced Settings, Advanced Backup Settings, to send a notification of a failed nightly backup

 NOTE: The email notification about a rejected mobile time entry is sent to the email addresses in 7-2-3
