Why are late charges not assessed in Property Management?
Description
Cause
Late charges are less than the Suppress charges under the amount entered on the lease Late Charge setup.
The value you enter for the Suppress charges under is compared to the calculated late charge. If the calculated late charge is less than this value, the late charge is not created. This allows you to avoid dealing with small and insignificant late charges.
Resolution
  1. PM Tasks, Manage Lease, Change Lease.
  2. Select the lease that has late charges being suppressed.
  3. Select the Late Chgs tab.
  4. Change or delete the amount in Suppress charges under field.
  5. Click Close.
