Resolution | - Use Change Entries to mark the charge as Subject to LC.
- Tasks, Change Entries, Tenant Transactions.
- Make your selections for the tenant/lease, then click Find.
- Select the charge and click Edit.
- Select the Miscellaneous tab.
- Select the box for Subject to late charges.
- Click OK.
- Repeat for any additional charges.
- Click Close when finished.
- Verify on the lease charge controls that the charge type is marked Subject to LC, so future charges will be included in late charge processing (Tasks, Manage Leases, Change Lease, Chg Controls tab).
- Enter the Cutoff Date after the Charge Date plus Grace Days.
- Mark the Process Paid-Late items on the lease late charge setup (Tasks, Manage Leases, Change Lease, Late Chgs tab, General tab).
- Determine if the Grace Days and/or Start interest on day need to be changed (Tasks, Manage Leases, Change Lease, Late Chgs tab, Step [1, 2, or 3] tab).
