Sage Paperless Construction: How do I check the logs for errors?

Resolution
  • The Event Log in Cloud Sync Manager captures error messages and notices related to the cloud sync - use this log to research errors in eCapture, ePortal and eForms
  • The Application Service Log on the server captures errors related to the overall program

Check the cloud sync log:

  1. Open Sage Paperless Construction as an Administrator.
  2. Go to Administration on the Ribbon.
  3. Open Cloud Sync.
  4. Select the Event Log tab at the top.
  5. Change the drop down in the top left from Today to Last 5 days to see additional information.


Check the server log:

  1. Open the SPC Server Dashboard from the server.
  2. Go to the App Service tab at the top.
  3. Click View Error Log to open the log.
