How to Export Data

  1. Click File, Select Import/Export.
  2. Select the desired type of data to export (Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, etc.).
  3. Choose the desired data to export and click Export.
  4. Open the Options tab.
  5. Select the drop-down arrow under Import/Export file.
  6. Browse to G:\Sage 50 US Backups and choose Open.
  7. Click OK to export the file.
  8. Browse to the Sage 50 US Backups folder.
  9. Copy the exported file and paste it into local computer.

How to Import Data

 TIP: Export a copy of the journal or record you would like to import to use as a template to import with.  

  1. Open the Windows App or use the Windows Cloud URL
  2. Navigate to the Sage 50 US Backups folder and re-enter your credentials if prompted.
  3. Copy the CSV file you are importing and paste it into this folder.
  4. Open Sage 50.
  5. Go to File, Select Import/Export.
  6. Select the desired type of data to Import (Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, etc.).
  7. Select the desired data to import and click Import.
  8. Click the button below Import/Export File to select the file from G:\Sage 50 US Backups.
  9. Check First Row Contains Headings if the first row of the import file contains column headers.
  10. Click OK to import the file.
