| How to export or import data using Sage 50 Hosted |
Resolution | How to Export Data - Click File, Select Import/Export.
- Select the desired type of data to export (Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, etc.).
- Choose the desired data to export and click Export.
- Open the Options tab.
- Select the drop-down arrow under Import/Export file.
- Browse to G:\Sage 50 US Backups and choose Open.
- Click OK to export the file.
- Browse to the Sage 50 US Backups folder.
- Copy the exported file and paste it into local computer.
How to Import Data TIP: Export a copy of the journal or record you would like to import to use as a template to import with. - Open the Windows App or use the Windows Cloud URL.
- Navigate to the Sage 50 US Backups folder and re-enter your credentials if prompted.
- Copy the CSV file you are importing and paste it into this folder.
- Open Sage 50.
- Go to File, Select Import/Export.
- Select the desired type of data to Import (Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, etc.).
- Select the desired data to import and click Import.
- Click the button below Import/Export File to select the file from G:\Sage 50 US Backups.
- Check First Row Contains Headings if the first row of the import file contains column headers.
- Click OK to import the file.
