In this example we are going to create a Sage folder on the C: drive of a standalone or server computer.

  1. Right Click on the Windows Start button Image and select File Explorer.
  2. On the left, under This PC select OSDisk (C:) or C:.
  3. Once the C: drive is selected on the left, right-click on a blank space in the folder location on the right. Take caution with this, if you right-click on an existing file or folder you will get the wrong menu.
  4. From the right click menu select New > and then select Folder from the menu. Windows will create the new folder at your current location (C:).
  5. The folder called "New folder" will be created and it will be open for you to edit the folder name.
  6. Enter your desired folder name to replace "New folder" in this example enter Sage and hit Enter.
