How to enroll in eFiling

Section 1: Purchase eFile
  • To add the eFiling service to your Sage 50 Payroll Solution, contact your Account Manager or call sales 800-626-8634
  • After purchasing the eFiling service, continue to the next section

Section 2: Update Subscriptions in Sage:

  1. Open Sage 50.
  2. Select Help, then Sage 50 Subscription Updates.
  3. If an Internet connection is available, select Online (Recommended); otherwise, select Manually.
  4. Select OK.
  5. For manual activation, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process; for online activation, select OK on the success message.
  6. Close and reopen Sage 50. 
  7. Select System on the left hand side, and under Licensing Information verify that you are enrolled in e-filing. 

Section 3:  Set up your account at the Aatrix website

  1. Navigate to https://efile.aatrix.com.
  2. Click on the Enroll link in the upper right corner and complete the enrollment screen. See the table below for details. Note:  If you are an accountant, all clients you plan to efile for should be listed under your Aatrix account.
  3. Follow the instructions to complete your enrollment.
  4. After you are complete with all the required information click the Enroll button.

Username

Select a user name to be used for eFiling. The user name must be between 8 and 50 characters long and can only consist of letters (upper or lower case) and/or Number (0-9).
Email Enter the email address you would like to receive all correspondence from the eFile center to.
Password Select a password to be used for eFiling. The password must be between 8 and 12 characters long and only consist of letters (upper or lower case) and/or numbers (0-9).
Verify Password Re-enter the password you have previously chosen above.
Accounting Package Enter Sage 50 Accounting.
Company EIN Enter the Federal Tax Id / Employer Identification Number (EIN) for your business.
Company Name Enter your Company Name.
Contact Name Enter the contact name for your company.
Address 1 Enter the address line 1 of your company.
Address 2 If you have an address line 2 you can enter it in this field.
City Enter the city of your company.
State User the drop down error to enter the state of your company.
Zip Enter the zip code of your company.
Phone Enter the phone number of your company.
Fax Enter the fax number of your company. This is an optional field.
