Supporting TLS 1.0 and 1.1 for Sage 100 ERP

Summary

Does the Sage 100 ERP program continue to support TLS 1.0 and 1.1?

Resolution

Sage ends support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1

  • Sage will end support of Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 and 1.1 for online communications by October 1, 2023
  • TLS protects online data by creating secure paths over networks
  • New regulations require using TLS 1.2 because TLS 1.0 and 1.1 have security risks
  • Sage servers will stop accepting communication from products using TLS 1.0 and 1.1 on October 1, 2023
  • If your program version doesn’t use TLS 1.2, update or upgrade to avoid software issues
  • Sage 100 versions 2018 PU10, 2019 PU4, 2020 PU1, and newer versions support TLS 1.2
  • Sage 100 2015.5 users with the payroll module must also update or upgrade
  • If you don’t update, Sage 100 will show warning messages and stop communicating with Sage servers
  • After about 45 days, your software will switch to read-only mode and limit access
  • We extended the grace period, but as of June 2024, immediate action is required
  • Contact your Sage business partner, systems administrator, or Sage Expert Services at [email protected] to update or upgrade
