Error: "The owner must upgrade the company version before you can access it"

The host station that is sharing the company information is on a lower version than station that is trying to connect to the data. The user receiving the message is not the data owner.

Check for updates

1. Sign into Sage 50 on the host station as the data owner.
2. Go to Services and Check for Updates
3. Allow the updates available to download and install
4. If the company needs converting, let it convert and then see if the other stations can access the data
