Which folders to share and what level of access to provide

Which folders to share and the level of access that users need to use Sage 50 Accounting.

We recommend sharing the folder directly above your data path folder. This will ensure optimal performance.

• For example, if the data path on the server is C:\Sage\Peachtree\Company, then we recommend sharing the “Peachtree” directory

To run Sage successfully, any user accessing the program will need to have Full Control to the shared folder.
