There are three solution options:

  1. First Solution is to lower the “session.timeout” parameter in the nodelocal.js to a maximum of 5 minutes and restart the Syracuse services.
    • Note: The TIMEHGUP1 and TIMEHGUP2 under Parameter Values do not apply.
  2. Second Solution is to disable the new throttling features in Chrome by:
    • Typing chrome://flags/ in your chrome browser
    • Search for 'throttle'
    • Disable the “Throttle JavaScript timers in background” and “Calculate window occlusion on Windows” options.
    • Restart Chrome browser
      1. Note: this applies only if you are using Chome v.88 or higher
  3. Third Solution is to update Syracuse to at least 12.10.0.54.
    • At this version, this is managed better as there is a clearer message, the second error does not pop up, and you are actually redirected to the login page.
    • Note: This is the recommended solution
