How to use the Syracuse Export Function for user profiles? (EXPORT PROFILES)

Resolution

CAUTION: Sage support can't assist with third-party products, hardware, report customizations, or state and federal tax questions. Refer to our Scope of Support for more info. Contact your Sage business partner, network administrator, or accountant for assistance.

  1. Administration, Utilities, Exports, Export profiles (Export Profiles)
  2. Click on “New export profile”
  3. Define properly the new export profile (application and endpoint = Syracuse ) - Code and Description
  4. Add in “Profile Item” the lookupEntity users = users
  5. Click Action, export all then Click on Save:
  6. Then you can click on export:
  7. Once completed, you can download the .json file.
  8. Now you can transfer this .json file in the other X3 Solution
  9. You are logged in the other x3 Solution, go to Syracuse administration\Utilities\Import tool
  10. Use the import function by using the .json file

Note: When exporting, the fields must be in the same order as they appear in MongoDB.
