Summary

The error will occur when previewing or printing the Annual Budgets Income Statement and consolidating by department or account.

  • Access violation at address 00BF7570 in module 'Task0100.exe'. Read of address 000001BA

Resolution

Sage BusinessWorks 2024 SP9 and Sage BusinessWorks 2025 SP2 resolves this issue.  Visit the Sage BusinessWorks: Download Portal to access the latest version or service pack update. 

Workaround

Preview or print the report consolidated by NONE. The error occurs only when selecting to consolidate the report by account or department.

Steps to duplicate

  1. GL, Reports, Income Statement, Budgeted.
  2. Click ... and select Annual Budgets Income Statement.
  3. For Include what totals, select Annual Budgets (Next Year).
  4. For Consolidated by, select either Account or Department.
  5. Preview or Print Report.
  6. Notice error displays.
