Error: "Access Violation at address XXX in module 'OptAccpac.dll' in Order Entry module

Summary

Sage 300 shows an OptAccpac.dll access violation when you drill into shipment or invoice details. The error appears during Ops Inquiry when you open the Last Shipment No. or Last Invoice No. fields.

Cause

This is a defect of the program.

Resolution

Follow these steps to resolve:

  1. Download and install Sage 300 2023.4 Hotfix D-44699.
  2. Restart the Sage 300 program.
  3. Reopen the Order Entry module and drill down to confirm the error no longer appears.
