How to select a printer

How to change the printer temporarily or permanently in Sage 50 Accounting.

1. Temporarily change the printer

1. On the task window, click Print.
2. Click Printer Setup.
3. Select the desired printer, then click OK.
4. Click Print to print the form or report.

2. Change the default printer

1.  Close Sage 50.
2. Open the Control Panel, then open Devices and Printers or Printers and Faxes.
3. Right-click the printer you wish to be the default, and choose Set as default printer.

4. Launch Sage 50.
5. Select the new default printer in the print dialog for each type of transaction.
   • Selecting the new default printer changes it only for that type of transaction.
   • Example: doing this when printing a Sales Order, changes the default printer on Sales invoices and Receipts, but not Purchases and Payments.
   • Once you print a transaction with the new default printer, the print dialog will remember it.
