  • Sage 50—U.S. Edition does have import/export functionality
  • Sage 50 exports data as CSV files
  • Sage 50 is able to import CSV files
  • To access the Import/Export options, click File, Select Import Export; from there, select the needed section and the desired file type
  • Successfully importing into Sage 50 requires that the import file match the column order and field formats required; before importing, it is recommended to export the relevant file
    • For example, a Sales Journal if importing sales invoices) to get the needed format
  • If having trouble with an import from a 3rd party program, contact the software manufacturer for assistance
