Summary

How to view an annual tax liability report for state taxes in Sage 50 Accounting. The Tax Liability Report shows adjusted gross, taxable gross, tax withheld, and liability amounts for all payroll tax liabilities (by employee).

Description

  • Federal Unemployment Tax (FUTA)
  • Federal Income Tax (FIT)
  • Social Security and Medicare (FICA)
  • State Unemployment (SUI or SUTA)

Resolution

  1. Click Reports & Forms, Payroll.
  2. Click Tax Liability Report.
  3. Click the Options button.
  4. Click Date and select This Year.
  5. Click Tax and select State.
  6. Click State and select your two-letter state abbreviation.
  7. Click OK to display the report.

 NOTE: You must also have a tax service subscription for the year you’re running the report.
