How to enter customer and vendor beginning balances

Summary

Entering customer and vendor beginning balances.

Resolution

  1. Select Maintain, and then click Customers/Prospects or Vendors.
  2. Select the Customer ID or Vendor ID.
  3. Select the History tab, and then click Customer Beginning Balances or Vendor Beginning Balances.
  4. Enter the beginning transactions for the customers or vendors, and then click Save.

Note: Customer/Vendor beginning balances does not show on General Ledger. Balance should be included with General Ledger beginning balance.
