DELETE The program will not open after installing

Section 1 - Compatibility Mode is checked in Sage 50 shortcut key

1. Right-click the Sage 50 icon and left-click Properties.
2. Click the Compatibility tab.
3. If there is a check in the box for Run this program in compatibiltiy mode for:, click the Change settings for all users button and clear this check box.
4. Click Apply and then OK.
5. Verify that Sage 50 opens.

Section 2 - Workstation was upgraded before the server

• Install the update on the server using Installation Instructions - Sage 50—U.S. Edition.

Section 3 - Damaged installation of Sage 50

• Run a repair on Sage 50 in Windows Control Panel.

Section 4 - INI file missing UNC path (on workstation)

1. Navigate to the location of the INI file.
2. Update the INI file to include the correct UNC path (on workstation).

Section 5 - Not installed to correct Program Path

1. Uninstall Sage 50.
2. Reinstall Sage 50.

Note: If installing on a 64-bit operating system, ensure that the program is installed on the C:\drive and into the Program Files (x86) folder. The program should always be installed into a 32-bit program path.
