Displays Warning: "You can only view your company data and not make changes. This is because the subscription has expired or could not be authenticated. You can call 1-800-336-1420 to renew your subscription." Data is in a read-only state.
- Subscription plan has expired
- Subscription data needs to be updated
- To renew your subscription, call 1-800-336-1420
- If your subscription has already been renewed, follow the steps below on the computer that holds the data (server).
- Verify Internet connection is valid.
- Select Help, then Sage 50 Subscription Updates.
- Select OK.
- Select OK on the message "Sage 50 subscriptions were successfully updated."
- Close Sage 50—U.S. Edition.
- Open Sage 50.
- Verify that you no longer receive the message.
Note: If the above steps fail reboot the computer in selective startup and try again. Refer to How to boot into selective startup?.
If the subscription update continues to fail online, try the manual subscription update. Refer to How do I manually activate or update subscriptions?.
