Summary

When trying to launch Sage 300 CRE, I receive the message "Program aborted. Incompatible screen file [TS 6102]".

Cause

You start a Sage 300 CRE application from a corrupt shortcut.

Resolution

CAUTION: Sage support can't assist with third-party products, hardware, report customizations, or state and federal tax questions. Refer to our Scope of Support for more info. Contact your Sage business partner, network administrator, or accountant for assistance.

 

Create a new Windows Desktop shortcut

  1. From your Windows Desktop, select the Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate shortcut that causes the error.
  2. Right-click and select Delete.
  3. From the Windows taskbar, click Start.
  4. Find and select the Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate application to start from the shortcut. For example, to start Sage Desktop from a shortcut, select All Programs, Sage Accounting, Desktop.
  5. Right-click and select Send To and then Desktop (create shortcut).
