Notes:
- To edit a Standard report you must have a license for Sage Fixed Assets - Reporting
- Customized Standard Reports follow the rules of the base report you are customizing
- Some reports cannot be customized because they are summary reports. For example, the GL Posting or any of the Projection reports
In Sage Fixed Assets - Depreciation:
- Go to: Reports, Standard Reports, select the report to customize.
- On the Report Definition screen: Click Customize Report.
- In the Customize Report screen:
- The Edit Column Tab: Allows changes to column width, which columns appear on the report, if the report will print as Landscape or Portrait, and the report margins
- The Edit Header/Footer Tab: There is space to add additional information on both the Left and Right of the report headers, across the report footer. You can also change the report title on this tab
- The View Report Layout Tab: Allows the report to be with any additional header/footer information prior to printing
- Once report modifications are complete: click Save As, give the report a name, click OK.
- Click Close to return to the Report Definition, click Run Report.
To edit a Customized Report:
- Go to: Reports, Customized Reports, Select the Report (Or go to the Reports drop down box of any report).
- On the Report's Definition screen: Click the Customize Report button, make needed changes, click Save.
Note: The database holds Customized Standard in the company table. They are not separate report files.
