Depreciation information on the 4562 - Depreciation and Amortization Report is incorrect

Resolution

In Sage Fixed Assets Depreciation:

  1. Check the Fiscal Year End for the desired book..
  2. Select File, then Edit Company.
  3. Check the FY End row on the Book Defaults tab.
  4. Ensure depreciation has been run through the year end before running the 4562.
  5. Select Depreciation, Depreciate, select the All Complete Assets group.
  6. Select the desired Book, enter the Fiscal Year End for Calculate Depreciation Through.
  7. Select OK.
  8. Go to Reports, Tax Reports, Form 4562 - Depreciation and Amortization.
  9. Select the All Complete Assets group.
  10. Select the desired Book.
  11. Enter the FIRST month of this fiscal year in Run report for fiscal year beginning.
  12. Select Run Report.
